Terms & Conditions
These terms are the rules for using Furnishr, a peer-to-peer furniture marketplace operated by Harshel solutions. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them, to the Privacy Policy, and to the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
What Furnishr is
Furnishr does not take custody or ownership of rented items and does not guarantee the condition, return, or financial outcome of peer-to-peer rentals. Rental agreements and item-condition matters are primarily between the participating users.
Furnishr helps people in Bengaluru discover furniture listed by other people and connect with them. Membership fees, if you choose a paid plan, buy marketplace access such as owner-contact requests and listing capacity. They are not a furniture payment, deposit, or payout. Pickup, return, price, and item condition are arranged between the people involved. Furnishr does not deliver items and does not take custody of them.
User rules
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a contract.
- You sign in with your own mobile number. One person, one account. Do not share your sign-in code.
- The name on your account should be a name the other person can recognise.
- Use the site only for lawful furniture rentals and sales. Do not list stolen, unsafe, illegal, or misleading items.
- Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, or spam other people, and do not scrape or disrupt the service.
- Furnishr is currently available in Bengaluru. Listing or requesting furniture for another city is outside the service we offer today.
Peer interactions
- Anyone can browse, save, and compare listings without a paid plan.
- Sending a rental or purchase request uses one owner contact from your plan. Later messages on that same request do not use another contact.
- The owner decides whether to approve the request. Contact details are shown to both people only after approval.
- After approval, you arrange the price, any deposit, pickup, and return directly with the other person. Furnishr is not a party to that arrangement and does not collect that money.
- Either person may withdraw a request before handover. A withdrawal is recorded. It does not create a payment or a refund on Furnishr.
- Reviews are available only after both sides mark the request complete. Keep them about the actual transaction.
- You may block another person and you may report a no-show, damage, behaviour, or listing problem. A report asks us to review safety and conduct. It does not start a payment dispute.
Listing responsibilities
- List only furniture you own or are allowed to rent or sell.
- Describe the item honestly: category, condition, price, photos of the actual item, and whether it is for rent or sale.
- Keep availability current. Do not accept two people for the same rental dates.
- A seller must complete identity verification before a listing can be published, and can keep only as many live listings as the current seller plan allows.
- If a paid seller plan ends, listings already published stay visible. You cannot publish more until the live count is within the free plan.
- You are responsible for the item at handover and for what you agree with the other person about damage, loss, or late return. Furnishr does not inspect items and does not insure them.
Dispute boundaries
Furnishr may review reports and restrict, suspend, or close an account that breaks these rules, misleads other people, or creates a safety risk. That review can include a warning, reduced access, or removal of a listing.
We do not decide, and we do not pay either person for:
- the price, deposit, or other money agreed between two users;
- damage, loss, late return, or a disagreement about item condition;
- a missed pickup, a no-show, or a failed handover;
- whether a rental or sale should be unwound after the people have already exchanged money.
Those matters stay between the participating users. If a crime or an immediate safety risk is involved, contact local authorities as well as Furnishr. Membership charges are covered separately in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Changes
We may update these terms when the service changes. The date at the top of this page is the date of the current version. Continuing to use Furnishr after an update means you accept the updated terms. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru have jurisdiction.
